Olivia is a junior at Wichita State and is a student at the Elliott School of Communication. She is an American Legion Auxiliary Sunflower Girls State alumna and was awarded the title of Academic All-American by the National Speech and Debate Association in 2020. Olivia is a member of ICT Independent Winter Guard and enjoys spinning and competing with her team. When she isn鈥檛 spinning or studying, Olivia enjoys baking, singing, reading, and working. She loves her job as a barista because it allows her to connect with customers and make their days a little better with coffee.
Olivia was attracted to the Widener Global Leaders Program because she is interested in forming meaningful connections with young women sharing similar interests and goals. She鈥檚 also excited about the prospect of meeting mentors who can help guide her education and career.
Olivia would like to work in education and outreach for a non-profit organization, specifically an organization that promotes reproductive education and reproductive rights. Above all else, she wants her work to empower those in her community.
